Professional Specialty Pharmacy

Professional Specialty Pharmacy is a community-based specialty pharmacy dedicated to providing the best care to our patients. Unlike the national mail-order specialty pharmacies, we offer face-to-face clinical and pharmaceutical oversight to ensure medication compliance and disease management.

Since 2016, we have maintained an ACHC and URAC accredited Specialty Pharmacy. These accreditations demonstrate the quality of our patient management program and our specialty pharmacy staff. Specialty Pharmacy team members include a dedicated Certified Specialty Pharmacist, pharmacist(s), midlevel provider(s), patient advocate(s), and pharmacy technician(s). They are a part of the communities we serve and are here to assist patients every step of this oftentimes overwhelming process.

By being a part of the patient’s care team, Professional Specialty Pharmacy improves clinical and economic outcomes for patients with complex, often chronic, and rare conditions. Our access to limited distribution drugs and other specialty medications allows the specialty team to focus on supporting patients and their specialty care team providers throughout treatment. Customized care plans, routine intervention calls, and proactive risk assessments on medications are just a few ways we oversee and monitor Professional Specialty Pharmacy patients. Our specialty EMR platform also allows us to share this information, along with other clinical quality data, to all specialty patient care team members on a regular basis.

Professional Specialty Pharmacy is a division of ÃÈÂÜÉç, Inc., a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center, with the goal of making healthcare available to all patients, regardless of their ability to pay. Below are just a few examples of the many services we can provide our patients:

  • Same-day prescription transfer
  • Specialty medication counseling
  • Case management/disease management
  • Medication adherence
  • Transportation services
  • Translation services
  • Access to limited distribution drugs and/or orphan drugs
  • Prior Authorization Assistance
  • Low prescription turnaround time
  • 24/7 access to the Specialty team
